My hostboard time is going to be cut drastically, because I mainly go on at school... they blocked all the anonomizers so I can't do those either.
I mean, really... what's so bad about dolls? (TEE HEE)
So yeah, that's my rant for today.

They probably blocked it because of other boards at Hostboard, not just the doll board.

I've never tried accessing the board from school. I'm supposed to be doing work any time I get on the computer anyway, and even if I did go on the board, I'd be way too embarrassed. (Yes, I'm a closet collector. )

My school blocks personal pages, game sites, and things like My Space...though I will say that I've know of students getting past blocks on My Space.

My school has yet to ban hostboard. Yay for me considering I aid one period and about all I do is go online when I'm not needed. Which is a LOT.

They have blocked other things I go on though, but all I have to say is where there's a will, there's a way.

And I've yet to get into trouble for it. My teachers don't care, and when administration sees where I'm going, I doubt they care either. (primarily knitting boards and re-enacting sites.)

If it makes you feel better, I notice that Hostboard's a lot more fun when I get on at night when there's lots to read!

My school hasn't blocked it. But my school hasn't blocked anything, it's a university.

Well, OK, we're technically not supposed to "abuse" the computer privileges. But I have yet to meet someone who goes on the computer strictly for work. Our school doesn't really care, as long as you're not blasting music out of the speakers or doing something disruptive. I've seen a lot - **** and everything - on other people's computers... but yeah, they went and blocked EVERYTHING - game sites, personal web pages, etc... however for some reason we can still get on AOL email.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">This is probably to protect you from the myspace fiasco that is going on then. If they are blocking hostboard and possible other meet sites, personal pages, etc. They don't want to be held responsible for someone on the outside soliciting a minor... at least that is what I gather.

When I was at highschool, we had a library with free use computers (as long as there was not a class in there). During lunch we could come in and use the computer do work, check e-mail, or my favorite at the time, look at anime.
